As you might expect, no two walls were square and the bathroom floor sloped over 2" from one end to the other! Jerry completely demolished everything down to the studs and floor joists and built a totally new room. There is always job creep, but thoughtful planning throughout the project allowed us to create a pleasant reading nook in the basement where a reroute of plumbing created new usable space. Redesigning bathroom windows allowed us to re-side the back of the house as well! Jerry's original estimate for the bathroom was spot on with no surprises.

"Jerry took the job of repairing the deck on the back of our house about a year ago. During much of the time, Jerry had the help of Ed and Guy - both of them good carpenters and good workers.

At the time, we did not realize that the entire deck would have to be torn down and a whole new one built. As the work progressed, Jerry would come to me and say that something should be replaced, but he could patch it up if we didn't want to go to the extra expense. He would carefully explain what was involved, and I always urged him to do what he thought was right. Jerry was also helpful in suggesting design features that I had not thought of, and I am very happy that we followed his suggestions.
